WOW!

On paper I thought this race looked daunting. Following you all whilst it was happening I knew it was serious. But....reading about it makes the whole thing seem even more mental.

Those two days of riding sound longer, harder and meaner than anything I've ever done (or am likely to do!) - chapeau sir!

Luckily you had a nice short Day 03 to recover :?

Double wow. Thanks Ian, you have inspired me to do this. Reckon it will take two years to get fit enough to do the slowest time on record. Talk me out of it please!

Sounds an vaguely exciting ride, well done on completing it (more impressively, racing it!).

Just looking at the webpage for this and the 2014 event coincides with May Half-term.....

Excellent read Ian - I can still not begin to imagine that level of effort/pain/satisfaction on completion :)

Enjoyed reading that race report. Loved the tactics that got you in to 2nd place. Great stuff!
