I have booked a Trekker Hut in Tyndrum for this coming Thursday and Friday night:
http://www.tyndrumbytheway.com/accommod ... kker-huts/
Cost is £20 for single occupancy or a total of £30 for two. Anyone here want to keep their tent dry on Friday night for £15?
Hostel is full so I booked it for myself. I am going up Thursday but doubt anybody else will be that early arriving but happy to share that night as well.
Snorer's need not apply!

Nice and cozy, especially with 2 bikes in one.
One thing to not about Tyndrum is there is no parking anywhere. Its just a main road up to the highlands with a few buildings either side. No real place to stash any cars without someone wondering who they belong to. I asked the campsite if i could leave the car there for the week, but they forgot and then called the Police thinking we'd gone missing on the hills
I'm assuming you'll be fine on the train Kevin.

Stash your car(s) in Crianlarich then ride the few miles up to Tyndrum? Should make for a nice warmdown ride back after the race.

I left my van in the car park outside the Visitors Centre in Tyndrum when I went off for a night. There's tons of space.
