I find it's always best to have a third party enforcing last orders on these occasions

White Lion in Mach' might be worth trying. Perhaps the liveliest pub in Mach and does B&B.

Mid Wales pub in pant yr dwr was a right laugh last time I ventured that way.

They looked after us very well on the 2016 WRT - More or less gave us the bar all night to dry our sodden selves out.

(Was one up the road. Probably haven't had a toilet since it fell apart in my hands five years ago. Still, the insane price they charged me for the 'facilities' (none) would've bought a complete replacement)

There's nothing 'wrong' with it aside from it's somewhat run-down. Someone once asked me if it was a theme pub. Slightly puzzled, I asked what the theme was ... 'Wales
1957' was the reply. However, in fairness, if there were a few there and expectations were kept in check, then it'd likely be a good night.

A family bought it John. I believe their intention is to run it as a licensed B+B but no sign of anything happening so far.

I’m staying at Cringoed campsite so could easily head into Llanbrynmair to the pub Friday.

Im eating there and asked if i can camp in my van and they said ok!

I stayed at the pub in Llanbrynmair before one BB200. It was basic but the welcome was warm, the food was hot and the beer was perfectly acceptable.

That's good to know as we've booked a room there. Last time ,we camped at cringoed. Was quiet and facilities were fine

I see on their Tariffs page they offer an "electric optional gravel touring pitch". Graveltouring? Pah, it'll never catch on .

PS> Shortening "electricity" to "electric" seems quite common these days. Maybe it's cheaper.
