New old bike

WRT done on my full susser was a mistake and for the last couple of years I've used my Fat Bike which is perfect but it's very heavy.

So, after a bit of re jigging the Alfine 11 speed hub is going onto the Singular Swift.

But with no rack mounts the frame is now at the welders to have lugs brazed on it to fit a rack, then it's off to the powder coaters for a high viz, fluorescent orange colour change.

3 weeks and counting to the re build completion.

Look forward to seeing that. Are you going to sticker it up again too?

Alfine Swift, yes it's a good idea, fluoro colours, hmm each to their own. Rack mounts? That makes the baby Jesus cry. (but what would I know, my Fargo is festooned with bolt ons)

The Swift head badge will go back on it but I think it needs a new name and I'll get a mate to do me the decals.

I'm thinking of
Sweet dreams
OMG
SMIDSY - (Sorry mate I didn't see you)

but what would the collective suggest a decal name to be for an High Viz, bivi bike?

Surely it needs to be named after a brightly coloured bird?

Well, seeing as Singulars are all named after things that fly and the bike's getting reborn as it were, how about Pheonix? Obviously they're quite bright too, what with all the flames and stuff ;)

That's it....

As it's my Bivi bike how does "Phoenix Nights" sound?
