Any interest in a Boners trip to the seaside over the weekend of July 24th / 25th?
Nothing set in stone yet but just gauging the water.

Yeah, should be no need to ride through the night as we'll be both starting and finishing at the coast

You'll have to explain the logic of this one to me one day Stu

- or is it just the heat??

We'd usually depart from somewhere other than the coast and ride through the night in order to get there by dawn. However we not doing that

That's a relief, I fear I'd be crap at that, though would rather try it out with mates than on my own...
Love the Gower, but have never thought about it in a bike packing kind of way, so this will be grand

Unfortunately I'm visiting family in Cardiff that weekend. I wonder if I could get away with sneaking out for a bivi, unlikely.

New user here, posting as i live on Gower and might be able to join that weekend.
Have a mixed surface 100k route with 2000m climbing which might be of interest, at least to stimulate some route chat. Is all on small roads or bridleway (except a tiny stretch of not very well used footpath).
cheers
Jonny

Looking again at the route it could be extended with more offroad bits for a two day cycle....

I love that part of the world, but it's my nephew's 18th and I'd be a pretty sh*t uncle if I missed it.
