I'm after some Mezcal 2.3s for a lanes and byways trip soon, want something that doesn't buzz on the tarmac. Got too many tyres here already so hoping for a swap.
Got some BNIB Ardent 2.4s, Purgatory 2.2s and Storm Control 2.0s. Also lightly used Conti Speed King 2.2s and some Marathon Mondial 47s.
Would just buy SH also. A bit of wear on the tyres is no probs, less tread is smoother on tarmac anyway.

I am just about to fit my* mezcals to my bike, 2.2/2.3, but what made me chuckle is I have a stash of the exact same tyres!!
I also use Schwalbe 29x2.2 all round G-One, which I really like.
