Revelate Sweet Roll & Dry bag?

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any experience in using the Revelate Sweet-roll (2013 model) and whether it is worth/should be combining with a dry-bag inside it - primarily I want to use it to carry a sleeping bag, I have a Rab ascent 500.

I see from other forums that the sweet roll was not 100% water proof before, but the description of the new model states 100% water proof seams - so not the same, which makes me think I need a drybag.

The diameter of the sweet-roll is 7", most dry-bags I've look at (AlpKit, Exped) seems to exceed that diameter when you get to the the sizes you would need for a sleeping bag.

So i guess I'm asking, do I need a dry bag at all, and if so could anyone recommend one that might fit?

Any advice appreciated.
Cheers
Adie

This might sound stupid but why don't you just use a bin-liner or plastic bag? You won't need to worry about the size then or extra weight/bulk of a drybag. I always put the things I 'NEED' to keep dry inside a plastic bag regardless of what I'm using to carry them in.

For extra security I use rubble sacks rather than bin bags, far less lightly to tear.
