Inspired by the North Downs bivy thread - I'm headed out from St Albans tomorrow for an overnight towards Ivinghoe Beacon to test some gear and get a lung-full of fresh air.

If anyone happens to be similarly minded let me know.

Don't be that inspired... We both bailed due to lack of motivation / tiredness. What wimps.
Still if I can go to bed and leave the bottle of wine, there's always tomorrow night in the woods on my own...
