After a bit of research and tips, my lovely wife got me a Dakota 20 and some of those nice os maps for our anniversary!
Really pleased with it and think its great!
But looking at my handle bars I thought I'd ask how folk mount everything to the bars/stem.
At present I have my comp on the stem so need another location!
Thanks

I've got the official garmin mount and its ok. The edge mount system is loads better though. I'm wondering if a bit of araldite might let me combine the two! If you like the look of the Jones bars but not the price these look similar for loads less!

They're ^ much narrower than Jones bars. I tried a pair but there was something about them I couldn't get on with.

This works for me - similar to what Ian has posted but a bit cheaper (and no doubt heavier)

Mine just go on my bars. With my harness there's an inch gap between the straps and the stem.
So it's harness strap/light mount/stem/gps/harness strap. All fits nicely
The farming mounts not great so make sure you use the leash. If you put a strip of electrical tape over the raised retainer at the bottom of the mount it holds it in place secure. One thing if you you use the mount on the bars you'll find it rotates under vibration. Cut an old piece of inner tube and wrap that around the bars then attach the mount. Bosh problem solved.

This is even cheaper

I use the 100mm as a support for my bar mounted drybag - helps keeps it away from cables etc.
