Lid for 450ml ti mugs

If anyone is looking for a cheap lid to boil water in their smaller ti mug (mine is a Life Venture but there are a lots that appear from a similar mould) the pop off lid from a large Lion's Golden Syrup tin is a perfect shape and fit.
A 2.5mm hole for pressure to escape is the only modification required.

Plus the added byproduct of enough golden syrup for several flapjack bakes :D

I use the lid of a nice single malt!
Well actually I use the lid as a priming tray, the bottom of the tube makes the lid!
Whiskey less useful for flapjacks though...
