What do you do about locking up your bike when camping out?
Any good lightweight locks available?
Cheers

I have a little japanese 'palmy' U lock...it's aluminium so it weighs hardly anything, and would be pretty useless against saws, crops etc...but out int'country it's more the opportunists you need to worry about in my opinion.

Currently I use the bike to hold the tarp up. If someone tried to take it they'd have to dismantle my shelter
Although, I also have one of these. Which I consider to be a shop / cafe lock as It wouldnt stop a prepared thief but may prevent an oportunist grab. I generally only use this when I can see the bike / be seen by thief or for nipping into a shop for supplies.

I generally haven't bothered but if I think it's going to be necessary I have a Knog party frank. It's covered in silicone so no scratching or damaging if stuffed in your bag.
Mine's orange btw, easy to find in the depths of a blacked out Alpkit Gourdon. :D

If you need to lock your bike, you're in the wrong spot.
