Wanted: Rigid 29er Fork

Looking at making my hardtail more "going camping" so looking to take the suspension fork off.
The frame has a tapered steerer and the wheels are 15mm/non-boost.
Steel, carbon, titanium, bamboo, wool, yoghurt - don't really care what they're made of. Having some bottle bosses on them would be nice, but not a deal breaker.

I did see that one, however it's boost and while my Pro 2 Evo hub has an adaptor available, the wheel needs re-dished which would make it difficult to swap back and forward with my (non-boost) suspension fork....

Use a velo solo no dish boost kit. Used one myself to swap between. No dishing needed :)

Do you need to re-dish?
The whole point of the adaptor is you can just put it in and swap the weheel over isn't it? Your wheel will be 5mm off-centre but I'd challenge you to notice that when you're riding tbh.
For context I use that adaptor pretty much all the time to run a non-boost-hubbed wheel in boost forks.

Good info, might be worth a punt on the eBay forks then!

How long does the steerer need to be?

Quite long - it's an XL frame with an external lower headset cup. Measuring the current set of Pikes, it's 200mm from crown race to top of stem

I have a carbon 29er fork I've been meaning to sell for a while. Bought second hand from ebay about 2 years ago for a project that never quite happened. 48cm axle to crown and the steerer is 18cm long. 100x15 axle, post mount brakes, no mounting points. 580g including the axle and in very good condition, barely used with only a few scuffs from being in storage.
Looking for £60 and also in Edinburgh so you're welcome to look at it at some point if you want.

That sounds good!
Let me hoick the current forks out and see if the steerer will be long enough
