All the gear....

No idea
I now have a machine, and have bought some material.
So I think I have what I need to attempt a mini frame bag. My frame has even shown up recently so I can make a template.
List of things to do
1, learn how to set the machine up
2, learn how to run a thread into some material
3, learn how zips work
4, make small bag
Seems simple enough

Really useful for those of us who haven't touched a sewing machine before.

Maybe just try making up some little bags first Dave? It'll give you a good idea about how the machine works and behaves with regard to things like tension, stitch length and different materials.

I was looking for that vid. Thanks.
Yep. Idea is to make a small bag, bout the size of a top tube bag to go above the water bottle on my sus frame.
I've got enough material to have about 5 tries so I'll just watch the video above and then have at it.
Should probably but a stick picker too but... Well. I'll get to that.

I did something very similar to this Stu. Though not 100% on purpose.
I know where it went wrong, mainly in trying to make a pointy end. Havnt quite figured out how to do that bit yet, very fiddly.
I'll try again in a few days, Might try a velcro flap closure actually though that seems less secure than a zip

when i was making on my framebag i planned to put the main pockets on the left hand side of it, as i always get off the bike or push the bike from that side. but last minute i seen somewhere someone mention that when ur out in the boonies and put ur bike down u have drive side facing up, so i put the zips on that side and am very glad for it as stuff is easily accesed that way
