At present the wife and I are sharing my road bike.

This is not the end of the world.... but it means that I'm having to move the seat post up and down a fair bit which being as its carbon is not ideal.

So I thought that I might add a torque wrench to my tools and was just inquiring about which one is best for cycling use?

I looked at this one which seems ok?

That looks okay Drew ... couple of things to bear in mind though.

With regard to the seat clamp, it'll be worth changing the bolt every 6 months or so, as continual tightening/loosening will stretch it and give you false readings ... also make sure the bolt is well greased (inc' under the head) as that will also produce false readings.

Whatever you do, never leave the torque wrench 'wound up'. Always back it off to zero as soon as you've finished using it. Leaving it 'wound up' will stretch the internal spring and ... that's right, you'll get false readings
