Grey Mares Tail to Gameshope Bothy, Local Knowledge Anyone?

I know it's a long shot but does anyone know if there is a rideable route between these two points. On "Where's the Path" I can see a path/sheep track that runs up the ridge to the West of Lock Skeen but it then disappears near the top. Half a K from that point on the ridgeline there is a wall/fence line that you could follow to take you to Molls Cleuch Dod above Gameshope but of course it could all be nightmare bikehike territory (3K of it).
