So, having an hour or two on my hands I've packed up ready for tomorrow's bivi.

3.25kg on the back, 1.8kg on the front.

Just water and food in the camelback.

Obviously full kit list available if you want it :)

Go on, I know you want to ;)

I have to say, that's looking pretty minimal for a 'we're still really in winter but pretending otherwise trip' ... is there a backpack involved too ?

you're right... I do!

Front 8L drybag holds:
PHD Diamir 500 sleeping bag (now almost 10 years old and going strong)
Bridgedale Socks
Undies
Hipflask with Talisker

Rear Bag holds:
Pump
Toolkit
spork
Borah Gear Tarp
Borah Bivi
Exped Downmat 7 Full size
PHD Minimus Jacket
MSR Titan Kettle
Which contains:
100g Gas Canister
Optimus Crux Stove
Windshield
Lighter
Coffee

Gas tank has snacks and headtorch

Spare tube on frame

Camelback will hold
Water
Pasta
Maybe some other grub
Phone etc
Perhaps an extra layer but i expect ill be riding in waterproofs from the start

The bivi spot I've eyed up will be at the end of a fairly long ride tomorrow but will actually only be about 10 miles from my house so as ill have lights on the bike, escape is viable.
