Hi again all.

Thought I'd post this a separate thread to the flats vs drops question now I'm happier with the woodchippers.

So what are people using for handlebar bags/ harness with drops? I read good things about Revelate and Wildcat but wandering what else is around ?
Looking for a good setup on a Fargo with Woodchippers

Thx
Dave

The Fargo thread already has a photo of my setup - Revelate Harness with 13 L Alpkit drybag.

The Restrap is worth looking at. I like mine. The strap system is simple and very easy to use and doesn't seem to have any difference in operation to others I have used. I also like the way the extra bag attaches to the harness, it's very quick and easy to get off but is secure when riding.

I have the large on a 46cm woodchipper. Its all about how you pack the dry bag in terms of if it gets in the way of your hands on the bars or not.

Always been fine for me and never had any issues with it in use
Also use it as my summer MTB bag - an alpkit kanga harness for winter as bag is a bit bulkier

I think some of the more "budget" market is pretty good these days now its a bit more popular

I've got some Altura Vortex to play with and really impressed with the bar roll. It's light and simple and leaves space for fingers on the tops.

I’ll second Colin’s Revelate recommendation, had one forever and it just works. Very stable, and I prefer a harness/bag rather then a permanently attached roll bag arrangement.
