fixing a anything cage to my forks with a jubilee clip??

Has anyone tried this ive got a 'anything cage' which im gonna use on my fork however iv no bosses as its a fox float so thought what the hell ill use a jubilee clip? anyone tried this and would it be recommended...the engineers amongst you will prob not agree :0)

Someone was running these at El an Back, mounted to thier forks. They were very stable.

You can get them 2 for £1 at wilko's. Wrap a bit of inner tube underneath to protect the fork and add tension.

Fork legs are not as "thick" as some might assume. Don't go hanging off any spanners ;)
