Seriously considering bringing my carbon 26er...lighter when on my shoulder. When they don't make tyres in that size anymore, the tyres question is easy.

V-brakes! No thanks. Mine's an Ibis Tranny, disc brakes (cable to continue our conv from elsewhere ), currently resurrected as a rigid 650b gravel bike but should be ~20lb naked with the 26" wheels back on it.
