Oh wow  was the weather that good for the whole trip? That looks like paradise, blue skies, snow capped mountains, lakes and empty roads, looks like the perfect trip.

we had 1 day when we wore waterproofs. it was dry and coolish, then dry and warm for the whole trip after.

some locals said it can rain the whole of june, and the views are a grey blank wall.

I think we were very lucky.

I went to Northern Norway in 2017 and was stunned by the environment too. What a place!

Certainly want to go back...

hostels and a couple of brygge type places, on the water on stilts.

we had a couple of hilly days, but the velo 1 route follows the northern/western coast for most.

1 thing I found out at a couple of bike shops, mountain biking trails are very thin on the ground.

Norway is spectacular. I've not ridden there, but it seems a great place for touring. If there is a lack of off-road trails, then it would be more than made up for by the stunning landscape. I'd be happy doing some hiking side trips instead. Glad you enjoyed it! :-bd
