Bank Holiday weekend next May. Do I :

a) Pay between £175 and £250 for three days ploughing through crappy sticky singletrack being overtaken by a bunch of yahoos 'shredding the gnarr' on their three grand full sussers,

OR

b) Pay £25 - £30 for three days getting lost god-knows-where, pushing up some non-existent bridleway in the pissing rain, cursing Stu, praying for a cuppa and a bacon sandwich with only a wet sleeping bag and a bag of rehydrated mush to look forward to.

As for me, I'll be doing option c) which riding quite a long way through in high bits of Scotlandshire in as short time as I can manage.
