Garmin Etrex to Edge adaptor

I didn’t make it but....

A nifty 3D printed gizmo to securely attach an Etrex to an Edge mount. Still using a leash though!

which I have used to good effect - I mounted it to jones loops too, with an k edge TT sport mount and remounted the 1/4 turn plate through 90°.

Nice - I think I'll get one of them.

I've still got my cheap chinese etrex mounts that I crudely attached a exposure QR mount to - I could tidy that up a lot and would be quite handy.

Stupid question as I know nothing about printing , but do you reckon it's possible to have the battery cover of the etrex printed up with the 1/4 mount already on it ,to save having to still slide the etrex into that mount and then onto the normal 1/4 turn ,as said I know nothing of this new fangledness.

for sure. you can buy glue on 1/4 turn mounts at present. Im surprised no one has made a cover mount so far, but I was never able to find one (thingiverse and shapeways being the main sources for this stuff).

in saying that, the mount I have is barely more than a cover so I remain happy with it.
