I've got a brand new pair of 26" Marathon Winters hung up in the workshop if anyone fancies them - £50 posted the pair. Same as these -

I had some 26" schwalbe winters. They were only any use for road riding when you thought you might find some ice, so I sold them.
If you want road ice tyres I'd get the same in 700c 35mm flavour and fit them to a cross bike.
If you want to ride the Strathpuffer, get Ice Spikers and accept 5mph will be your new maximum speed.

I should add that any MTB tyre with reasonable tread will be all you need in snow.

Ice tyres would have been superb in the Yorkshire dales today. Ice everywhere

I was utterly amazed by my home made ice tyres. It was incredible riding over sheet ice, where others made it no further than 6" before losing control and even struggling to walk on it.
Old tyre, box of 4x16 screws, an hour and a nice thick gardening glove and job done. Run tubeless you just treat them like any other tyre as the sealant does the magic.
Before the points wear off, they are dangerous mind!
