Rip in Alpkit Gourdon

I've managed to rip a small hole in my 25L Gourdon, I think from something sharp that was inside, and I was wondering if there was an easy way of fixing it. It's a little pointless as a waterproof bag with a hole.. :-S It's an 'L' shape with each side of the rip only being 1cm, am I right in thinking they are ripstop nylon so it didn't ought to rip any further very easily? Anyway, for a cheap fix (not to keen on stitching then spending £10 on seam esealant when it's worth £20) but would duct tape work? Or perhaps a patch of some sort? Any ideas? Ta

Mine came with a repair kit ... could it be tucked in the bottom of your bag?
