Outdoor Fitness mag.

I've just picked up the new issue of Outdoor Fitness magazine and it's rather good. There's an article about the Tour Divide and the West Highland Way double ... Pedalhead even gets a mention in there ;) There actually seems to be more interesting stuff in it than there is in the vast majority of bike magazines.

is it any good as a general read???

i've seen it before but always assumed it was a bit 'ramblery'.

It's not bad, I bought last months too ... it kept more more entertained than most magazines. I'd say if you're interested in getting faster/better/fitter then it's worth looking at.

It might take a little 'finding' but it's there. ;)

Found it :D . Interesting article, along with the (albeit a bit dated) account of the Tour Divide. There's even a roadie singlespeed training guide in there, so all in all quite a worthwhile read.

I like the way they say that east-west has more descending than climbing on the TCW. Well yes, but 15,133 vs 15,709 feet (according to Tracklogs) is splitting hairs a little!
