Hey there, I have an edge 25 that I use for work criding, but I wanted to use it as a backup for the 1000 when on long rides. Is there anyway that you can zoom in and out when navigation a course? I can't figure it out if there is. It's pretty useless for allowing courses unless they are roads. Currently I am using it along with Komoot on a smartphone as the 1000 backup, but it would be great to not need the phone.

Not that I'm aware off, it's a case of following the bread crumb trail. I use mine as a back for my etrex 30x.
