Has anyone done it... The Caernarfon to Cardiff route
Looking to do it at my pace over a few days Bivi stylee (not like some who could do it in one big hit)
Considering doing it this side of Xmas if I can get my legs into reasonable shape
Any pointers?

This is a route devised by Ian ... as far as i know it's not the same as any other.

No, but I imagine either Ian or Chew will have ... I'm sure they'll be along ;)

Chew's ride is based on the one I did last year, but is different in parts (I think he missed the Tywyn section out): http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... f=10&t=267

It differs from the Hobbit's Tale by starting further north, and finishing somewhere a bit nicer than the middle of Cardiff and takes in some proper off road in between.

As an alternative, South to North is fun too.
Cheated though using BnBs, but it did chuck it down almost every day.
Hitting the trail entries on route was the main plan.
