Winter sleeping bag ... suggestions please.

I'm considering a new sleeping bag for this coming winter. Something with a comfort (not extreme) rating down to around -10 would be nice as would not requiring a second mortgage to buy one.

Depending on availability, Alpkit Pipedream. I've got the PD600 and it's light, warm and was about £125 IIRC.

How bad do I feel now? ... For some really stupid reason Alpkit hadn't entered my tiny mind. Sorry about that fellas and thanks for refreshing my brain Pyro

I have a Alpkit Skyehigh 1000 for a winter bag, cozy and cheap. For 3 season a old North Face Blue Kazoo that has been dragged all over the place and still works great. Better half has a Mountain Hardwear and she raves about it. I would consider a GoLite 3 season quilt, my 1+ season has become my favorite 'bag'. Only other bags I have are Mont Bell, technically brilliant but expensive and hard to get here, and a Mountain Equipment one, that is cheap and cheerful! But I would go Golite Quilt and the PAC Elite mat, and a big soft pillow!
