I've got one of these

I picked it up second hand and is rock solid
Your local lidl may still have some bikestands left and they are only £30 seem to get good reviews

Re: What bike stand??
Thanks for the info valleydaddy, I got the park pcs9 at £75 and the chap gave me a small tub of White lighting grease to try f.o.c : )
I think for tonight's entertainment it's a strip and rebuild service :)

Re: What bike stand??
Ok here my view&review on the park pcs9 home mech stand.
Very sturdy and simple to use, it has a Plastic swivel hand at the back which seems strong but I think I might break it if not careful.
Jaw clamps are good but wood benifit from a thicker softer rubber as it left a imprint in the frame protector tape I have on the bike.
Finally I to adjust the Height you need a Allen key this should in my view be a lever bolt of some kind.
Out of ten!?
7/10
