Hi guys and girls, I want to do a nights bivi this weekend or the next one which will be a full moon (13th august) so I can test my new dd tarp out and possibly my hammock if it arrives, only I want to do it as cheap as possible in Essex or East Anglia I mean real cheap I will travel as all ways to my destination via train and I have a season ticket that will take me to zone 6 out this way I think Harald wood is the furthest.
does any one have some suggestion.
I don't mind spending up £20 in total for ticket extensions but to where!?
I have thought of doing and beach bivi and have looked at doing a route that includes Walton-on-the-Naze.
can any one or more help ?
cheers and kind regards
Matt

I have found this route which also takes me past the holiday site where my son is staying with his nanna so I can pop in for a surprise visit.

please comment and has any one got any beach bivi experience?

My experience of sleeping on the beach involved a large number of biting/stinging things ... no sign of them until the lights went out then they arrived in droves

sounds good - I've emailed you already for further details, Friday after 7pm is best for me and then to get some riding in Saturday morning/afternoon...? How does that fit in with your plans?
