so, after a largely work forced absence following WRT, its now time to concentrate on BB200.
around about 3.5 months to go to get fully ready. Plenty of riding planned and gym work to support!
well up for this now - its going to be painful but great!

i was thinking about this too!
what sort of training would people suggest for this type of event (i'm very inexperienced at both training and long-distance events and so any/all advice would be really helpful)???

I think it'll depend a little on what you're hoping to do -
A/ A finish should be fairly straight forward. If you can ride a couple of big(ish) back to back days, then really there's no reason you can't finish (it's likely to be your head that stops you rather than your body)
B/ Sub 28 hour ... I think the key is saving a little something for the home stretch.
I'm a big believer in learning to ride at a 'steady' pace for a long duration without stops. It's amazing how quickly any stops will eat into your time. The ability to eat / drink on the move can make quite a difference here.
C/ Sub 24 hour ... you'll have to ask someone else

my plan is to dream about C, aim for B and be happy with achieving A.
i've never been much good at pacing myself.
something to work on during the summer!
