Darn it, why doesn't the photo show?

I bought one of their road lids (Carnac Croix) last year for ten quid and it's really good. Comfy, light, well ventilated and looks okay as well. I'm not sure how it'd fare in a crash but I can't see why it'd be significantly worse than a big name helmet.

For the price it's a bargain and will match a BB Jersey.

It's got to be better than a 6 Yr old Specialised lid which let's the sweat into my eyes... At least I'll be able to see what I'm crashing into!

Just check the straps are properly connected. There were some failures in that regard.

A Beacon 3 diffuser thing for my Exposure Toro bike light. Until recently I didn't know such a thing existed but thanks to this forum I saw the light. It may prove handy for using my Toro as a camp light while bikepacking.

Singlespeed cog and chainring from PX ready for when the existing ones die.
A DHB wind proof winter cap. I never used to bother but I’m getting old and soft.
A couple of cheap tubeless repair kits to increase the odds of me having one with me when I need one.

Easy enough to make Whoopie Slings (and the other dyneema loops and whatnots) have a look on YouTube for TacBlades. Pretty sure I did a post about it in the MYOG section.

You did Bob, and normally I'd have made them but I imagine the small shops have suffered last year and they were so cheap I thought I'd just buy some.

I decided against sewing my own tree huggers as I'm sure I'd wake up with every sound in the night wondering if it was my stitching letting go so I was ordering anyway.

Got a Madison Isolar merino cap to go under the helmet as i'm freezing my head too much. Also some bitumin flashing tape to seal up the leaky shed roof...until it gets re-done with corrugated sheets at some point in the future!

Not quite the postman, but the FedEx man has just been. My new, working from home job, means I get to order a home office. So I have just been delivered a 28" NEC touch screen monitor, mouse, keyboard and proper office chair.

This means I can be more productive, efficient and also spend several hours a day spinning around in my chair wondering how the NHS ever coped before I got this job (The answer by the way is that it didn't, because I am the first person to ever be doing this job! If I was the second I think it may have noticed )

...and brought me a nice pair of Columbia Fairbanks boots, from that nice ton fella. Non-cycling specific but recommended by several people for us flatty hold-outs*.

Only one safe way to deal with that - nuke it from the atmosphere

Alternatively, just leave it a while (days), and give it a good wipe down before use. I don't imagine the virus spreading particles (fomites?) will be that concentrated (unless it's something really weird), they're only likely to survive for a while (many factors apply) and even those that do survive would need to be in a sufficiently high concentration to cause infection and/or the recipient be prone to infection (if they haven't had already and so have some persistent immunity).
