Useful tip-off ta. Didn't know LS21 was now featuring. The Tiger Drover seat harness is only 183g and I'm in the market for a replacement back end so that's food for thought.

10L tapered drybag 64g so that's 247g total. Not bad.

I'm one of the few who actually like a combined bag/harness and hence currently have an AK Koala. It's on its last legs so maybe a chance to try the 'separates' alternative. AK have stopped using LS07 (little demand apart from Reg? ;)) so the WC reduced weight is a big plus point.

I could do with the leeway of a 13L bag though tbh. 10L tapered is obviously the offering but I know people who stick non-WC 13s in there quite happily. Custom WC 13 tapered?

Couldn’t find a mk11 shaf so presuming all the offers are gone , got a mk12 for £275 off a warehouse retailer known to us all but hate to give the free advertising as the warehouse is 5min from my front door but they have to send it out in a van for delivery

Excellent. You just made my day. Thats 2 Acepacs at opposite ends (well one down south and anything fsrther than Landon is North to them) of the country living lovely lives. For reference, I made a route and thought I was going past Scarboro... then made the proper route and planned to ride and post in the morning. I did ride and post but only a 4 mile round trip and not the 160 miles I'd planned :o thankfully...

Hope its lasts you well and one day I shall go take a look at that waterfall (Wales I believe, where they currently don't want us :???: )...

Lol... Thanks very much Sir. I think I first came across it on a random post on TrekLites... so thanks to you for playing your part. Bit heavy but that just means it'll hopefully keep me warmer :-bd

You didn't notice the dog kennel I was commissioned to build (under orders for the baby) all day yesterday...

I spotted the dog kennel but as I made a tarp for Ralph I didn't think I was in a position to comment

 Sean.. You'd be proud as it fits 2. Think the other ones probably out for a walk with my daughter. Also left that gap in roof for a chimney (ain't any old dog kennel, new-age, dog friendly kennel)...

Sea 2 Summit 5L Evac eVent drybag. Webtogs, £8.50, RRP £16.

PHD Hispar 400 winter bag 'Before' (as they say):

and 'After' . Air certainly squeezed out through eVent base. Only minor niggle is could do with small tag on the bottom to assist extraction. I used to cart the sbag round on the bars (no probs, only 795g) in a 13L to help quicker loft. Loft just as good from a 5 of course and can now get the sbag in my 13L seatpack with everything else that isn't sleep stuff (tarp etc in single 10L bar bag).

Well I was a bit chilly since had the Minim Ultra when I should have had the Hispar  .

Am assuming the dog and kennel will be taken on bivvis much the same as Ralph.

Well Reg. At some point I'm gonna have to convince the 6 year old (AbduRahman) that we need to get out on a bivy and rhat his dog can come too. But the kennel will have to stay :-bd
