Never thought corks were made that big or heavy that you'd need such a big crane ?

Doing a "theme a week" photo thing this year to inspire me to diversify my photography a bit from picture of bikes leaning against things. Last week's theme was "dirty" and I submitted this:
Apologies for neglecting this thread - really must admire the fine efforts people are making more often, and put more of my own up (image hosting always

I put this one up on my Feb BAM post, then realised it was a photo I'd taken in the last month of which I quite like. So here it is again. I also quite like my new flooring, of which a mate and I laid down last week, by which I mean he laid it down while I watched and made tea.

More proud of than like.
My Mum died today. Instead of moping about I decided to find a spot a bit closer to her, 1,000m up our local Cat1 climb. Plenty of time for thinking, she was a lovely lady taken 10+ years ago with Alzeimers. F**k Alzeimers it's a horrible disease.

Playing about with some colour film for the first time in a few years. Not my usual offerings.

Had been wondering where my 2nd Dont Be Soft sticker had gotten to as it was meant to go on Stan (the Sonder)... Then noticed this whilst taking the little one out for his ride

Some more film scans from home developed Kentmere 400. Leica M6, probably Voigtlander 50mm lens.

And a few shots in a very dark wood on an MR event with Kentmere 400 pushed to 1600. Having a lens that shoots at f1.2 does help

I took this photo of Craig (Zerodarkbivvy) on the Spanish C2C, on the move with my iPhone. Particularly love the well turned out gent on the right.

Most of my photo's are rubbish. This one probably is too, but I think it will remind me of a good trip so I like it. (thats the title after all)
