The 1st otter shot could/should be so much better, but the gap I was shooting through was very narrow (hence the shadow on the right) and on both the light was poor under the pier and I didn't want to move to scare him/her away.
Excuses over here they are

I had a sneaky day off on Wednesday so I buggered off through 'the tunnel' to Val Ferret in Italy and embarked on a stunning little ride.
Half potentially dangerous high altitude icy silliness and half sublime über tech singletrack heaven.
Fairly pleasing on the eyes too
