If we're travelling as a big group, a map may not be necessary.
It is a magical mystery tour after all

Question and I'm not usually one for asking 'daft' ones like this but........
Is everyone else on super quick purpose built bikepacking lightweight mtbs with superlightweight kit and the like, and any hike a bike will be a doddle but yours truly will look like a total clown on a fat bike trying his best to blend in as a 'newbie'? But it is Global Fat Bike Day as well so it would be a shame to leave it at home
Anyone else going 'fat'?

I'll be on a fat bike, so you needn't worry. It's even got gears

I'll be on my singlespeed, as I haven't done enough single speed riding. It is sub 20lbs though. The rucksack with my home comforts in might make it a leisurely ride - I am hoping we go at the pace of the slowest though. ( does Stu have a sharp pointy stick?)

It's a bit of a bimble, there'll be lots of stopping at gates and gawping at stuff ... ride whatever you like, it really won't matter.

Popped out for a reccy ride today to make sure I could find said car park...sure is nice up there Mr S8tan. You'll have to teach me how to pronounce the location though. *grins* Nice grind coming in from the north.

Okay, find Llangadfan on the map (SJ 012109), follow the A458 NW and after half a km turn right onto the B4395. Follow this for roughly 2.5km, after the second yellow road on the right (just after Penyffordd farm) you'll see signs for the carpark on the left.

Oh no...didn't mean for you to do all that...I found the car park. Just wanted to make sure I could get there riding my bike. Coming in from the north, there's a little P> sign that points to a bunch of bracken which made me laugh, then just around the corner is the 'driveway'.
I was good to tap out a metric century anyways.
