Yes Steve. You can glean a lot of info about how a bow's working by knowing how well it's working ... if you see what I mean.
I remember the days when we just counted. Tsk.

One of those analogue pressure gauges for the fat bike, and some brake hose clips for Beth’s Santa Cruz.
The pressure gauge is good. Gives the same reading as my digital one without the faff (and batteries), and it’s more precise for those days when you want 7.4 psi instead of 7.7 psi

...and dropped off a plastic jacket. Thanks NW. :) Quick test outside in the howling wind and sure enough, it blocks the wind. Looking out for some rain now to go and stand in.

Removed from the jersey thread.
A new Park workstand after my trusty Lidl special finally gave up the ghost after about 5 years and a pair of Panaracer Gravel King slicks. Only tyres I've bought successive sets of rather than just getting what's in the sales!

... and told me my parcel was delivered, kindly sent me a photo of the side gate where he left it...... very nice but it wasn't a photo of my gate
Had to walk round our neighbours to see which gate matched the picture. Anyway, finally got a shiny black Cumulus 150 quilt, which I'll be trying out at the moors100 in a couple of weeks.

ooh, I don't usually post on this thread but I too received a can of Smidge this week.
Along with some boxes of Quakers Granola! Can never seem to find the stuff in the shops and it's about the only crunchy granola that I've found that I can safely eat with a nut allergy.

No weight for the LP ? I wonder if those old 45s with the removable centres (to reduce weight, obvs) were the early fore-runners of TLS..?

Completely OT but any old punk rockers on here should listen to Mark Riley’s A-Z of punk podcast which is really quite good.

Not the post man but a trip over the border to collect a present someone had for me. I shall split it into staves next week then patiently wait 18 months. I'll not tell you what that piece of wood is potentially worth once split because you wouldn't believe me

Goodness me.
How much? For
one??
Just, erm, nipping off to our churchyard across the park, erm, shan't be a tick. What's that under my jumper? Nothing, nothing.. <edges out of the door trying not to disembowel himself on the sharp teeth>...
One assumes you won't be inadvertently leaving it near Dee's kindling pile in the house then? (Memories of Lister burning a guitar-shaped chunk of Rimmer's Javanese camphor wood box when they were marooned and had to keep warm...)

That there log Reg, depending how it splits could be worth up to £600

Not that I will sell any because it was a gift, I will however make at least two bows from it that I will gift to others ... because they are lovely people but who have the bow making skill set of a baboon

She did once put £200 worth of cuben in the bin because she thought it was an old dust sheet I'd left lay about the place
