Tom Rowntree is only 1 day from finishing (149 miles left now) Does anyone know why he's not riding on single speed?

it was a bit of a rambling text to say the least, who knows what it was/is but hes moving again, hed been on the go for eighteen hours apparently so hardly surprising

and the durty bugger hasnt showered for six days

Tom Rowntree has overtaken Jose Bermudez and sits in 8th position, 90 minutes ahead of him. Only 10-13 hours to finish. It's 11am now there so he should finish around midnight. Go, go!

Seconded ... whatever's going on, take a while to settle your thoughts, find some cake and think about what crossing the line will be like and how it'll make you feel. Nothing is insurmountable if your heads in it ... but hey, if nowt's wrong and you're just buying a new tyre or summat, ignore me

Excellent, would be such a shame not to finish after getting that far, and that fast.

Looks like Greg is @ Two Wheel Drive....Mrs Scattamah is going to drive on over from Rio Rancho and see if he's still there to snap some pics.
