Greg May is still riding. Probably problem sorted?
Tom Rowntree is only 1 day from finishing (149 miles left now) Does anyone know why he's not riding on single speed?

Glad he's moving again. Any clue as to what is wrong / has been fixed?

Keep up the good work Greg, sterling effort!!!

I still can't quite wrap my head around what would be involved in a trip in this size.

Many much kudos to all of you crazy kids!

Anyone have a bike spec for Mike Hall? I just saw an article on STW about him and his bike is a sexy thing indeed.

Maybe getting repairs / parts before returning to route?

Fingers crossed Greg has made it over to Fat Tyre in ABQ. My preferred bike shop in town there.

Greg if you read this while waiting for repairs etc, stick at it, get it done! sub standard happens but how you ride it out is what you'll remember. Best of luck.

Tom Rowntree has overtaken Jose Bermudez and sits in 8th position, 90 minutes ahead of him. Only 10-13 hours to finish. It's 11am now there so he should finish around midnight. Go, go!

Seconded ... whatever's going on, take a while to settle your thoughts, find some cake and think about what crossing the line will be like and how it'll make you feel. Nothing is insurmountable if your heads in it ... but hey, if nowt's wrong and you're just buying a new tyre or summat, ignore me

Speaking to Steve yesterday and from Pauline's tweets it sounds like this is what's happening... 10h ago "Plan is sorted. Bike will get fixed. @greg_may_ will continue!"

Excellent, would be such a shame not to finish after getting that far, and that fast.

Looks like Greg is @ Two Wheel Drive....Mrs Scattamah is going to drive on over from Rio Rancho and see if he's still there to snap some pics.
