Collected a porcelain rocket Mr fusion seatpack, it’s a lovely thing with a mini rack/support. Fitted it en-route to our BAM, absolutely stable, rocksolid and generally decent kit.
Despite being labelled a hipster at the chilterns winter event I’m going to keep the carridice longflap for running errands and trips with the boy.

And delivered a rear light which plugs into the smart port on the back of my Exposure joystick, it’s tiny but very bright, in fact it’s so small I’ll almost certainly loose it.
He also delivered some Smooth lube (for bicycles chains!) , some new ceramic bearings for my hope bottom bracket, just have to figure out how to remove the old ones! And most importantly an offer of employment actually I’m getting fed up of being laid off in the winter, the same thing happened 3 years ago, please if you’re going to make me redundant do it in the summer so I can get some decent riding done
Bits for the commuter - chainrings, brake pads, chain and cassette, and for the SS, some new headset bearings, Mt Zoom wide bars, Esi grips, and another couple of side entry bottle cages and a SS chain. Enough bits to fix 2 bikes. Only 3 more bikes to go......
Lots of boxes of bits over recent weeks that have finally come together as a Transition Smuggler. My first full sus bike for ten years and it’s really rather nice. Not very bikepacky but it might see duty on a techy overnighter or two. We’ll see.
I use the Specialized Zee cages - one left and one right. They've never dropped a bottle.
One thing to watch out for in general though - not all bottle and cages are completely compatible. The height of the indentation on the bottle where the cage grips it does not seem to be standardised so some bottle fit best with certain cages.

Ive used these for the last few years and whilst Ive not dropped a bottle, I have broken a few
Probably due to putting the bike down and not noticing it impact on something

I had a fee to pay card for my Borah gear bivi that made it from the US. The fee is £15.45 including the £8 customs charge. I was expecting it to be more than this as the item was £83 so the VAT alone would be £16.60 Only another 2 days or so to wait now once I've paid the fee
