sewing that in curves will be fun
it also has some pole sections, buckles etc. so all I need for the new tarp

...and delivered a new pump since I was fed up with my small, light and not very effective one. He also delivered 2 new inner tubes since I'm averaging a puncture per 10 km in January.
Re: The post man's been ...
Yet more additions to my roadie gear due to the R@ph@ sale, including their Brevet bibs, which are probably the loveliest item of cycle clothing I've ever worn

And delivered a very nice POC race helmet, I used to think helmets were unnecessary coming from a motorbike back background, the descent from dunkery beacon convinced me otherwise, he was also good enough to deliver some proper cycling clothes, I’m not too sure about this stuff, the bib shorts may be too big and the top a bit rodie.....

Some spokes, nipples and rim tape and I spent the past two nights combining them with the rims that arrived last week and ....voila!!! My Fatty now has some 29er wheels. They are significantly lighter and the X-Kings I put on there should manage the local mud better than the 4in Floaters and the 650B+ Trail Boss' (which have tissue paper sidewalls too). First ride later today and because it's the weekend it's naturally pouring with rain and pretty nippy. Should be fun then.

Not from the postie, not on a Sunday afternoon.
The nice man with a delivery from Argos.
A new hair trimmer ordered after the failure of my previous trimmer this morning halfway through the task at hand.
No way was I leaving the house. Very grateful for same day deliveries.

A pair of baggy/not-baggy Kalf Terra shorts.
I've fancied these since jameso recommended them as an alternative to the Crikey, how much Touring shorts. They popped up in Evans clearance/seconds sale last week for half price, so a good chance to try them out.

We won't recognise you on this year's WRT now Stevo
. I think you need to do a "before" and "after" pair of photos like they do on slimming adverts. And you'll have to start a new "Kitfighters" thread to go alongside the Fatfighters one!

Re: The post man's been ...
Took a punt on the Lomo seat pack as featured in Norm’s review, arrived today and very impressed. A Large Alpkit large fuel pod from BB classifieds. Also took delivery of a couple of pairs of Polaris waterproof shorts as pointed out in the bargain thread. A pair of some stubby bar ends for adding a few other hand position options. BRS stove and wind shelter.
Slowly building up the core kit.
