A little something from the good ol' US of A to boost the performance of my quilts when the weather gets chilly. New old stock BPL synthetic 'clava ... it's right warm and the colour matches my RAB Infinity and Nanok booties spot on

The postman knocked this morning with my alpkit ti pegs & a airlock extra.
They arrived just in time for this weekends trip, however half the fun of receiving goodie in the post was absent today as it was not my regular postman who i normally play guess the contents with :(

^^^^^^^^^ I thought that the Dr Who monster special effects had moved on a bit since the 1970s Stuart?
Any older bikepackers remember the one about the giant green maggots in that Welsh mine ??

That's a full twenty niner MTB, with 2.4" tyres, two rear wheels, front rack, 27" wide Jones bars, aero bars, 5 bottle cages,a saddle bag, a full frame bag, front and rear gastank bags, a handlebar harness, 2 13ltr ortlieb drybags, and a full size sleeping bag....all in a 26" x 26" x 12" case! :D

BRP - Seriously impressed! Do you know what the whole lot weighs (case and everything else)?
Re: The post man's been ...
Posted: Fri Mar 15, 2013 5:28 pm
by BRP
Well the case on it's own weighs over 15lbs so the whole thing as it came to me was over 50lbs. :D
That included a few little bits and pieces that wouldn't be travelling anywhere with me, and quite a bit of fabric packing put in by Rob.
But the convenience of moving a case of this size around compared to a full size bike box is worth it to me.

Superb job, you will be stunning customs people the world over when they ask what's in the case.

Impressive stuff. That'll be your postie off with a bad back for 6 months then.....
My postie isn't interested in bikepacking stuff. He only wants to chat about what dvds i've ordered from play.com and about how much he hates his new boss.
