Thanks to Sean's tipoff, nice panda bells

. I must say they are slightly more, er, monumental than I expected. Might put one on each side of the bars for double panda-power.

I now have a mint Berghaus paclite jacket to sell, definitely too big for me

Don't you mean Shona @ Keep Peddling? and it's your Wildcat bag on the backwards? the zip should face you while riding?

Small but perfectly formed...
It's a tiny USB OTG converter for a normal USB cable. It means I can attach my Oregon to my phone to download / upload routes when I'm on the road.

the group i ride with in aberdeens been getting more exploritory on the big trails and eeking back towards the downhill stuff so i decided to change out my on one summer season frame to something else....
its both carbon and 26" with a highly unfashionably short top tube designed to be run with a 110 mm stem....... - but doesnt have a straight headtube so ill be able to buy forks in the future when my lyriks die...

A Tread Lite Gear cuben lantern, I was impressed with how much John Climber's lit up my tarp, especially as it was hung in his tarp some 20ft away
Some new pads ready for the BB200. These are Hope X2 Race, I didn't know there was a difference to a non-race pad, they were just the only X2 pads I could get. It turns out it's the same compound but with an alloy backplate. Let's hope the weight saving makes a difference

Confession time, yes the "shade" is the same but I've upgraded the light to one of these LED's
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nightlight-Con ... 54&sr=1-14 fitted to a poundland powerbank.
The original is good enough through, try it first before turbo charging it

I've tried it in the pantry (which has no windows so was dark) and it seemed quite bright. It will be s lot closer to me than yours was as well. I did wonder about the output of yours as it was like a mini moon lighting up our bivi spot

This is what you might want instead - proper bikepacking minute.

My rewards from Full Window's Ti Spork kickstarter arrived, after a short delay with customs fees.
Ti whistle, spork, with case and firelighter rod thing
I doubt I'll be taking the firelighter rod anywhere though, alone it weighs more than all of the rest combined, and I have a lighter, so.. :)

The postman has delivered a pair of Maxxis Forekasters to my house, so the wife is going to drop them at my work on the way past this afternoon and then I can head to my workshop and fit them ready for the BB200

As it would be somewhat foolhardy for the very first ride to be the BB200 it looks like I'll be getting up early tomorrow and using the bike on the commute. It only takes 25 mins on the road bike as it's flat all the way in. On the ss mtb with the lower 'wales' gearing it will be over 40 mins

I'll also get overtaken by all the other riders on the cycle path. All the rest of my kit is packed and ready to strap on the bike but there has to be something to do last minute or it would be too easy

Be interested to see your reviews Rich.

Postie dropped off some PX specials for the missus. Italian sizing strikes again and I've ended up with 2 pair of compression longs. Glad the other stuff is her size.
On a brighter note, my copy of Primus 'The Desaturated Seven' arrived and it's f*cking excellent. Les and co strike gold again.

Got a wonderful Berghaus Ramche 2.0 (actually an updated 2.0, so rather a 3.0) for hopefully soon. Can't wait to put it to good use in the wintry Alps and other cold places.
The newest gen has gotten a little lighter again. Size L = 465 g.
