Roswheel bikepacking bags on SP.

Not heard of them before, tempted by the saddle bag/rack but don’t think it’ll work with my suspension seatpost.

They've been around a few years. Been on SP before too I think. You might be able to tell whether or not it'll work from the video. Says the clamp can be 100mm below the saddle rails. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNcUu3V6acI

Cheap chinese brand ( were on ebay for years ) selling all sorts of bike tst (lights, bags, chainrings discs etc ). Very cheap but seem OK
HOWEVER
i bought a frame back 5 years ago ( possibly longer)amd the zip broke pretty quickly( weeks/months) on it. They.stupidly sent me 2 when i bought one and the second one is still going strong.
Not sure I would buy another tbh ( and less waterproof than my other frame bags)
edit : just seen prices certsinly gone up innprixe think inlaid about a tenner ish (.so was not expecting much )

I was thinking of one of them, but they didn't have my size in any case. That is quite lardy right enough but cheap!

Merlin have Deore 11-51 tooth 11 speed cassettes for £42 (HG) which seems extremely reasonable to me.

Still great value for money, but this was followed by another email offering new subscribers 30% off using the code SUMMERWALKS
but £8.70 is £8.70

Of course this is offer is only for new subscriptions and mine runs out on 3rd September

An 8 minute phone call to Chloe at OS on 0345 456 0420 ended with me cancelling my auto renewal and signing up on my phone with SUMMERWALKS from the 3rd September for another 12 months.

£8.70 saved, looks like this dance will take place every year
Dance done again, spoke to a lady called Sarah on the phone this morning.
This 30% new subscriptions discount of SAVEOSMAPS runs out on 9th Sept.
My renewal is 2nd September

Sarah told me to order online a new subscription using the code (which I did while still on the phone with her)

£10.50 saved, it starts on 2nd Sept when my old one runs out and the auto renewal is automatically cancelled with the new subscription.

She even told me if there is a March offer code that I want to use, use it in March and it wouldn't start until September 2nd for me.

Result

As in the App itself, or the maps themselves? BCN has OS Maps at all useful scales.

Whilst we’re talking about OS…

I quite like this feature, works better in the hills rather than flat Cheshire (yeah, I know it’s novel and fairly pointless)

Didn't see the Nanos. Just as well, because I've already got a pair in the cupboard from when they were 13 quid or something at Wiggle. Bought some £16 Rubino Pros for the road bike since they've been out of stock at Merlin forever.
