This one was shot the week following the Adventure Cycling Festival. While everyone else got the sun then went home I stayed up for the following week and the Keswick Mountain Festival. Let's just say it was very wet, and leave it at that.
Aira Force in full-force. This was a challenging one to shoot in the rain with the sheer volume of spray coming off the waterfall. The camera was
soaked afterwards.

Looking over to the Hard Knott Pass from the Wrynose Pass the day before the adventure cycling festival kicked off.

It's cheesy and cliched, but a 'vintage' style shot of a vintage-style camera
Today's the 100th birthday of Nikon, and about 10 years since I started using them, so thought I'd buy a used-but-good-condition Nikkor-Q 135mm f/2.8 to go on the Nikon FM body I use when I shoot film. Seemed appropriate to get a shot of it using a similar age 50mm (admittedly mounted on a Fuji body) and give it a slight film-style makeover.

I stopped at Fredrick's Icecream shop last Saturday and a gent on crutches approached me and started asking questions about the size of my tyres. I thought it was going to be the usual but turned out he is a fellow MTB nut
Anyway, the conversation continued about fat bikes and he mentioned that a club mate named John was in Iceland on his fat bike
We both agreed that we'd be sure to see some pretty epic pictures of John's adventure some time soon

First proper walk for Pauline since Úna arrived. Only 11km, and one Wainwright but it'll do.
