There's just been a (non-scientific) comparison between home coffee makers on BBC2 and the coffee from the Aeropress (at £25) was preferred to that from (much) more expensive models. Even the professional bullsh, err, taster preferred the coffee it made.

We have a 'Presso' which is basically a posh aero press in the way it works, but is less effort to use coz of the levers.

coffee snob here ....dont do instant.... even poor fresh coffee kicks the arse out of the "supposed" best instant.

years of cowboy coffee while touring and bikepacking , finally got my arse one of them ortlieb coffee drips things and used it in anger today.

the weight is worth it not to be picking bits of grind out your teeth the rest of the day .

dont be having room for an aeropress.... if i had room for that id consider smaller bags.

Yep, thumbs up here for the ortleib drippy thing. Light, simple, flat and easy to pack. Stolen sugar from Costa and UHT dairy sticks from Amazon
