Officially not in. Have to do things with outlaws that day.
However, I'll be riding the longer loop of the Hebden Love Loop on Sunday - about 85km, if anyone fancies joining me.

Jokes aside, I'd be up for that! (Although I actually can't do anything before the Winter Event, so maybe just an Essex bivi)

ooh i'm guessing it may be a little soggy - are people opting for tents or tarps?

Currently pissing it down here. Not due to stop till tomorrow. If you're going tarp, bring a groundsheet - ground is sodden everywhere.

To be fair the forecast has been changing every 5 mins this week.
First sunshine, then frost, then snow now heavy rain.
Wait 5 mins and it'll probably change again......

I'm just awaiting the arrival of Mike and Scott so we can embark on the winter bivvy Cymru ... weather's awful, forecast's up and down by the minute, just hoping my knowledge of 'walled' bivvy spots is up to scratch.

Hope you all have a good one.

With the current forecast (think canoe requirements) it may be wise to have a later start time/more time in the pub.
I'll have a look at the forecast at 4 and make the call.

I may be home relativity early on Saturday evening - so if people are bailing to the pub post here and I'll wander down and find ye. Worst case people can crash on my floor/garage if it all goes to sub standard.

CHANGE OF START TIME
Righto......The weather forecast for tomorrow is looking a tad wet
Instead of meeting at 12 for a 1pm start, i'm suggesting we delay that to 3pm meet for a 4pm depart.
I can shorten the route to the pub and hopefully by then the worst of the rain will have passed. Also the bonus of a few more more hours in bed for those out partying tonight (Wenchie i'm looking at you)
Any issues drop let me know

Don't tell Jase about the delayed start.....
He might turn up early for the new start time for a change.
Ride safe and stay dry...
