Thanks for updates Chew.
Any comments on difficulty compared to the old course? Is Stu in hiding?

Fantastic effort from all. Sounds like sub 24 was hard earned.
Re: BB200 - Spectators Corner
Looking forward to hearing stories from those who have taken part. Inspiring achievements by all who have finished and all those still battling.
Re: BB200 - Spectators Corner
Paul Marshall texted me this morning. He spent night at top of climb out of Penmachno. Sounds like he was happy and in good spirits.
Brilliant job by all.

Re: BB200 - Spectators Corner
Very hard route, brutal in places
However totally beautiful
Highlights for me were the view of Barmouth. Didn't look real. Nor did the gate I rode into that had disguised itself as a cattle grid. Very bright moon too

Shame about Lisa as she was looking super strong in Barmouth at lunchtime

Just so you all know Ian cheated by being fitter than me.
I'm wasted, really happy with a sub-24, you cannot imagine how hard that course was. Every bit of me is wrecked.

The general consensus was it was a very tough route. A lot of folk went straight through, some putting in well over 24 hours of effort.Dave42w wrote:Looking forward to hearing stories from those who have taken part. Inspiring achievements by all who have finished and all those still battling.
To finish at all is a substantial achievement in my opinion. The hike a bike sections were tough and unrelenting. Makes Carnau look a bit easy in comparison.
I will do a blog when I've had some sleep!

Any sign of Jason (Wotsit)?
Got a text from him this morning saying how bag the 1am hike a bike was. He got his head down at 4.30am and slept in until 8am.
