Check Komoot for other ideas too - canal loop - https://www.komoot.com/discover/Selecte ... C-1.535812

I know -my apathy has been so bad that I haven't even had a go on them yet. Actually hoping they might be a good way to get some fun back into my riding.
Is the Burton Green route the Greenway? if you have a gpx route that shows that could you share with me?

The railway is still there though it's been sanitised for the greater good... used to be a cracking thrash down from Burton Green to Crackley, twisting single track ... then they put a bulldozer through it, then they tarmaced it to 'improve' it..

HS2 runs parallel with it
ah yes I spotted the HS2 route last time I was in Kenilworth, I'm impressed with the new cycling infrastructure going in in parts of Cov, especially Binley Road, and the other thing that caught my eye recently is the Lias Line greenway and some newly finished sections,

It's literally the greenway from Kenilworth to Burton Green. Not many options from Burton Green though ... you can link to Warwick Uni from the Kenilworth end.
This is exactly what YOU need to be doing, not me. I know the routes, ridden them countless times. There's a great track in the trees both sides of the Kenilworth Road from Gibbet Hill to A45. Also Wainbody Wood ... go and explore !

Embrace silliness.

Light whimsy is underrated
