Re: Tragical Mystery Tour - crowdpacking?
Ta. Second it is. I was absolutely convinced you'd go third - which I've just climbed up 140m since the previous junction so that would have been "amusing"...
Aye I'm up at around 400m now so down is about the only option! I think I'd better try and find a graveyard for V. So I think I'll keep going in a straight line until I hit the next habitation and hope for some sort of burial ground. I'll cross any junctions I come to.
See you in a while.

I'll be busy again for a bit....next time you're stuck for a decision, look on your map and head for the nearest whatever containing the letter C

Here's my gravestone choice!

A "professional topple test" - they never mentioned that at the school careers sessions. Professional Topple Tester.
.
I'll carry on downhill if I may. There's an old railway, now a cycle route. Turn left or right onto it when I get there?

Re: Tragical Mystery Tour - crowdpacking?
Or even...this C? With lots of extra C on top! Hate these takeaway cups. It says 'completely compostable' (two more C's for you
) so at least I can take it home for the compost heap.

Right, on this cycle route if I go left there's a place beginning with C after about a mile and amazingly there's also one after a mile if I go right. I can tick both off, the right one is very slightly nearer if I do that first and come back for the other. I can then carry on to exit, I think according to the map, at either:
1 - after about half a mile
2 - after about 2 miles
3 - after about 4 miles
Your choice

Yes I suppose I ought to eventuallyBearlegged wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 3:11 pmDepends. Got any desires for this route? Need to be back somewhere by a certain time?

Sort me out with the exit point and that'll keep me happy for a while...

There are lots of angry dwarves in the room with you. All of them throw knives at you. You're dead. Game over.
Well, Bear will now know where I left the cycle route, and he'll know that I feel dead after cranking up that hill non-stop to........ the Monsal Head Hotel.
And with my cover now blown - it's always the tiniest slip that gives you away isn't it? blooming gravestone, sigh - we may as well enjoy the classic famous scene while we're here eh! Surprised I wasn't rumbled earlier to be honest.
Now that the grockles have all departed for the day I shall sit here in peace for a while and contemplate scenic perfection. Then I'll return to the start in my chosen directions thank you
.
Thank you to all the contestants that played along with Reg's daft game - I really enjoyed myself.
There's any number of bivvy spots around here, but Verena has unwittingly chosen it for me already

Consider that plague is not a recent phenomenon ....
And by some amazing coincidence the route does indeed look a bit like a giant plague-carrying rat

I had been hoping to route you down Cave Dale, but then you zoomed through Little Hucklow. Ah well.
