Quite right, Bob, I did. It was bloomin brilliant actually.
People said to me, “so, you’re riding rigid then?”.
I responded by saying, “no, I’m riding 29+“

I rode that set up for a while too. Was good for an attempt on the B350 back in ?2014.

Steering feels a bit ‘square’ by which I mean it feels like you need to fight the flywheel effect of a heavier rotating mass. But I got used to it pretty quick like most bike stuff.

Anyone tried 29+ front and 650b+ back?

I’m sold on 29+ front / 29 rear. Best of both worlds, I reckon

I reckon it wouldn't be too hard for me to swap in a rigid front fork to go that way if I ever wanted to try it.
